ROLLOVER MS DAY was held on Sunday, May 21^st, 2006!!!!!

Hi All!

A special thank you to each and every one of the volunteers, staff and participants for all your hard work, dedication and perseverance on our Inaugural Rollover MS Event! It was a great day for a 1^st multi-town-simultaneous-event!!! The weather was gorgeous after a very soggy week before! Someone was watching over us!!! Following the very successful inaugural event in 2005, the MS Center is took its walk/run/bikathon event to a new level by holding its first ever Rollover MS! Participants had the option of a one, three or five-mile Walk, Run, Bike, or Roller blade. The entry fee was a $10 per person minimum. The event was held simultaneously in Teaneck, Paramus, Northvale & River Vale! The Teaneck Event, started at the Richard Rodda Center, run by our very dedicated Carol Cetrino!!! The Paramus Event, started at Westfield Garden State Plaza, and was run by the wonderful Bob Horowitz in loving memory of his late wife Ester, who recently passed away from complications of MS. The Northvale Event, which started at TnT Fitness Center, was run by the very special Fitness Center owner, Joe Tecchio!!! The River Vale Event, which started at Town Hall, was run by the amazing Lorraine Flannery on behalf of Mayor Pachalis’ Wellness Campaign!! A great time was had by all in every town!!! Thanks to all the team captains for all their hard work!!! A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to ABBY SANTIAGO, Event Coordinator and Volunteer Extraordinaire, for staying on top of literally 12,567 details that needed to be taken care of!!! Kudos to Abby and to all that helped make this event a success!!! Again, on behalf of June, Lisa, Martha, the staff and the patients of the MS Center, applaud each and every one of you for your support, friendship and dedication to our beloved Center.
